Listed below are things you need to know about this month in Upward
Turn in all Fundraiser Kits (Coupon Card)
There are still a lot of fundraiser kits outstanding and need to be turned in. We met our goal of $1500 to paint lines on the gym floor. However, we lose money if all fundraiser cards are not turned in. Please turn in your fundraiser kits to Scott Garske this week, no later than the 1st game on Saturday, January 7. Thank you to all that participated.
Kings Ticket Sales – $17.50 and $22.50 
Folk’s there is a NBA season and we are going to play one of our games at Power Balance Pavilion in February (date TBD). The amount of time our kids play on the King’s court is determined by the number of tickets we sale/buy. I have reserved 400 upper level tickets … cheaper tickets will go fast for the Kings vs Dallas Maverick game on Friday, March 9th @ 7PM. Minimum Goal is 300 tickets to give our kids plenty of time on the court. If we hit the 400 ticket goal… I will reserve some time for our Parents to play on the court too. Collect money from Friends and Family, fill out the Ticket order form on back of this newsletter, and turn it in with all money collected to: Scott/Wendy Garske, Jeff/Jennifer Barretto, Bev Hill, or James/Lisa Wilson our Upward Commissioners. Ticket Purchase Deadline is Saturday, Jan 28th. King Tickets will be distributed on Saturday, February 4th (Picture Day).
Parents…a night to break away to enjoy some good clean comedy with Kerri Pomorelli and Ron McGehee. Cost is $10 per person. Purchase tickets from Paris Dye in the snack bar. There will be free child care, with fun and games, in the
